I'm back with another holiday outfit inspiration. This time it's one for the little men in your life, and I'm completely basing it off of the outfit that my little man will be wearing this Christmas day.

I find it really hard to find nice clothes for boys sometimes, but when I was in Farmers a few weeks ago, they were having a sale on children's clothes - half price!! What better time to buy some nice clothes for the little one to wear on Christmas day.

With it better summer here, I've obviously gone for shorts and a short sleeve t-shirt, but I think this shirt would look good with a nice pair of jeans if it were going to be a bit colder.



The shirt is the best shirt I've bought him for some time. It has a denim look to it, with an arrow pattern. It can be found here.

No realistically, the little man is going to be wearing sandals, or probably no shoes at all, for most of the day. But if I were to have him wear shoes, I'd go with some like these canvas shoes. They are so lightweight and not as hot to wear as ordinary sneakers are.

And of course, to keep the sun off his face, I would give him a cap like this one. He actually has a really awesome Superman cap that he wears all the time, so I don't need to buy him one this year. Win!

It's Christmas party time! Let's face it, I'm sure that the work parties started back in November really.

There's just something about Christmas time that makes me want to buy all the pretty dresses - red of course - and get dressed up to go party!

I always find it hard to put together a nice outfit for holiday parties. For starters, I don't have many 'fancy' dresses, nor do I get invited to enough places that would warrant me having to buy more. So today, I've put together a little outfit inspiration for those holiday parties that are going on at this time of year, or even if you want to get all fancy on Christmas day, then this would be perfect.

I've chosen a red dress because it's such a festive colour, and of course some nice sparkly jewelery, because what is Christmas without a little sparkle and shine?

The shoes are by far my favourite, and I'm planning on buying some for a wedding I'm going to in January. They can be found here.

All of the accessories are Colette Hayman items, and can be found here (clutch), here (earrings), and here (necklace). I think they're so beautiful, and would look amazing with this dress.

I'm not a huge ring or bracelet person, so I've chosen not to include either with this look, but that's just my personal preference.

It's that time of year! Party time, and really, who doesn't love a good New Years Eve Party?

I was contacted by Weddington Way to put a style post together, the brief being that I was the maid of honour or the bridesmaid for a New Years Eve wedding, and if I was able to make my own look for this, what it would be. The one condition was that it obviously had to use one of their dresses.

Well! They have such gorgeous dresses, the hardest part was choosing which one to go with.

This is the look I've put together...

The dress is gorgeous. It's such an elegant look, and I just love the colour as well. It's from their bridesmaid range, which can be found here.

Because it would be a glitzy New Years wedding, I decided to go with glitzy accessories. I'm not much of a clutch person, so I opted not to add one to this look, though I am sure there are many out there that would fit perfectly.

I chose Louboutin 'Princess' shoes. They're so gorgeous, I really wish I had a pair of my own. I also chose all of my jewellery from the Michael Hill Jewellers website. They're a New Zealand company and have some gorgeous items.

The cuff in particular, I have been looking at wistfully in their window every time I pass. The earrings are simple diamond studded. And the necklace is also diamond, in my favourite necklace shape at the moment.

For my hair, I honestly think I would go with a simple bun. They're elegant, and easy to mantain, not to mention I'm completely in love with them at the moment.

What items would you choose for your New Years Eve look?

I have an obsession. And no, I'm not talking about my shoe obsession. I've already touched on that.

No, this time it's hats. I have a small collection of them, and nearly every time I go shopping, I am tempted to make it grow.

My laptop charger decided to stop working on me so it died! I am going to replace it when I get back from Australia, which is a bummer cause I wanted to take it with me to do some blog posts, and put photos onto. But oh well, I'm sure it will be better to just spend the time over there enjoying my holiday {which if I say so myself, I do deserve}.
I finally got around to putting Picasa onto the Mac {our main (home) computer}, and my sister was staying in our spare room {which is also the computer room} the past couple of days, so today is my first chance of writing a post.
So what have I been up to you ask?
Well, school mainly.
I have been on full control this past week {meaning the normal teacher takes a side step, and I have to plan and teach every lesson} it is so much fun, and I am learning so much more every day.
I also went shopping. A couple of weeks ago, I went shopping and put some clothes on lay by. Well, I picked them up, and I must say, I am so pleased with what I got.
This was the first time {since having L} that I could go into a shop, see heaps of things that I liked, and then have them look good on me! I was so happy.
I got them all from Kmart, which is a pretty awesome shop!

After seeing these photos, I actually realise just how skinny my legs are compared to the rest of my body. No wonder all my friends go on about my 'nice legs'. My arms are the same actually, and on really cold days, my ankles, wrists, and knees get extremely sore from the cold {a little random fact about me there}

-I have terrible stage fright, but I love singing. I have always wanted lesson to improve my voice/range, but don't think it will be worth it since I freeze as soon as I am meant to sing on my own. {I am fine if there is 1 or more people singing with me}
-I really want to experience a white Christmas. Our is in the middle of summer, and although Christmas/boxing day BBQ and beach is great, it would be awesome to experience the holidays another way. Instead of 'White Christmas'{the song} we have 'Christmas on the Beach' {I tried finding it on youtube, but no luck}
-I am my friends' rock. Pretty much all of my friends confide in me with everything, and they know I will do anything for them. That includes 2am phone calls from a distraught best friend. I am happy to say that they are the same for me too. I love my friends so much!
-I love Glee and Gossip Girl. I actually watch it online, only hours after it has aired. That is how much I don't want to wait for it to start playing again on TV here.
-My family never expected me to be the first to have a baby. I was the goody good, with big ambitions, no one ever expected that I would be pregnant at 17. But then again, they probably never expected me to keep those ambitions after I had L. They are there, and if anything they are bigger than ever.
Ok, so I can't think of another 2 things, so 5 will have to do for now.
Rule #3 is to pass this award onto 15 newly discovered blogs. So, I actually can't list any, because I don't have any newly discovered blogs. I am quite 'strict' I guess you can say about what will make me follow a blog, and lately there haven't been many.
However, as I do come across some, I will add them and pass it on, I promise!!
